Solid musician and songwriter. But Alicia Keys isn't a vocalist. She's not a pure singer.That's not her thing. They didn't really have to fix her vocals. But it does show you the technology that's available in post production. It's all Artificial Intelligence now...computer generated.
Of course they got fixed. Welcome to the magic world of technology.
Her writing and piano playing is how she gets away with her limited vocal range.
All facts to the above. That and her cute face got her much further than India Arie, who's a better vocalist, songwriter and also plays instruments (IMO).
This is why entertainment is on life support. Real people listening to fake singing. You can’t trust anything. You were to think that she could learn and improve for character’s sake. Lazy slopping vocals, shiny piano, and coochie cutting catsuit dumbs people down to true vocal talent.
