Tiffany Red Accuses Beyoncé of Unfair Business Practices

Last year singer/songwriter Tiffany Red came forward to corroborate Cassie Ventura's abuse claims against Sean 'Diddy' Combs [click here if you missed that].

Now Tiffany is calling out music industry mega stars, namely Beyoncé, for strong-arming publishing credits away from actual songwriters...

Yasssss. Drag Beyodel by her bleached blond hairs!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ole girl had time today. It's sickening how much Wolf breath has gotten away with. Don't believe me, ask Keri Hilson.

I’m happy for Beyoncé that as an artist she knows how to protect her art like Mariah and Madonna know how to do. Whitney did not know how to do that so she would only be making money now by touring only and her voice was gone.

If you're going to make these kinds of insinuations then pull out the receipts and name names. Who did Beyonce steal from? Which songs? Either take responsibility with a real call out or go back to your hidey hole.

Rich off the publishing of the writer's. Makes sense now

SHE has NEVER worked a day in her life with Beyoncé, she said people that have, told her xyz… basically she does the same thing as artists has done since caveman days. She named 3 of the ones that she personally has worked with but she didn’t @ them, she @Beyonce because she wants her to help negotiate terms for song writers since she’s the biggest artist.

The thing is why sign a contract giving the artist 15-20% and then complain about it later? Negotiate your terms up front and stand on business. Nobody is forcing you to give your song(s) to artists. She went about this the wrong way and when her well runs dry because of her mouth, she will then blame Beyonce and Roc Nation as to why nobody will work with her.

Capitalism is as capitalism does.

No capitalism without exploitation.

If she produces good products, people will still want to work with her.

Crazy how she mentioned the artist she wrote for, do the same thing, but she ONLY called out Beyoncé because she’s the biggest artist of this generation…Girl bye! Zendaya is an A list celeb as well, and also took a percentage of publishing rights but of course she will come for the artist that will not clap back publicly, because she know her career has a better chance of surviving if she beefs with the hive versus Zendaya’s fans.

Singling out Beyoncé is not going to help. It will just get her blackballed. Instead, the songwriters need to band together and demand change.

Until the folks being exploited, stand up and say no more, this will not change. It's time for real change in every industry.

Decent people don't tout their wealth while paying subordinates less than living wages.

9:13, for many songwriters, they don't have a choice. I know someone that went through something similar with a major artist in the early 2000s. Basically, you sign away your rights, or they discard you and go with someone waiting in the wings

^^^^ 95/% of the black music industry has done this for decades, why not single out the ones who have actually benefited and made money off of your talents instead of an artist that you have never worked with? Decent people don’t let the actual ones that have benefited from you and have you living on less than living wages slide and go after an artist and her husband who hasn’t benefited a penny from you.

Don't like Beyonce and knowing she hasn't worked with her, this sounds like a hatchet job to put Beyonce in a bad light. This is very common in the music industry so why drag Beyonce into it....oh I get it. It is because she wants to do country music ; so she's now fair game.

All you Beyodel stand defending her are hilarious. Delusional much? Pleases take the blinders off. Your idol is a thief!

@11:09 She may be a thief but she hasn’t stolen from THIS clout chaser. If she has an issue with the way she was done by artists that she’s worked for, take it up with the ones who ate off of your lyrics. My issue is why come for someone who hasn’t stolen from you instead of going after the ones eating off of you. I don’t feel that way just because she’s clout chasing on Beyoncé’s name, I’d feel the same way if she had did the same thing to Janet Jackson.

Many people will ignore any and every thing happening to other people, unless or until they become personally victimized. Then they want to make it a problem for other people. I hope that the unionization effort is successful.

Start singing your own songs and see how much money you make off of them.

Beyonce has a long history of take credit for others hard work...

Whitney wouldnt HAVE to tour to make money. I think if she were alive today she would be in Lionel Richie's seat at American Idol. That gig alone is like 17 mil a year. She also had alot of stuff in her wardrobe worth money. Imagine how much some of her gowns would sell for.
You got Ms Houston fkd up.

11:09 you should talk, you idolize Chris Brown Ma’am.

Actually, she did bring up and address the folks who she worked with too. I’m here for sis shaking the table about this type of behind-the-scenes strong arming and grift.

If I Was A Boy is an example of STOLEN & UNCREDITED song lyrics

@5:19- she spoke on them maybe 30 seconds. She did not @ them. Instead she @ Beyoncé and Jayz , people who have never personally wronged HER. Beyoncé is doing the same thing as artists that are more talented than her have done for decades, so why single her out? I hope Beyoncé pays her dust and continues to never work with her.

@6:46 you are loud and wrong, Beyoncé got absolutely ZERO credit for that song, it’s the ONLY song on that album that she didn’t. The songwriter BC Jean and producer Toby wrote it because she was venting about a breakup with an ex. It was Toby’s idea to record her vent and turn it into lyrics but afterwards she originally wanted the song for herself but the producer Toby shopped it to Beyoncé anyway and Beyoncé loved it. It became a hit song and she got a lot of deals because of that. Some man wrote an article about Beyoncé stealing it but the writer herself said that she did not.

So this woman has never worked with Beyonce, never even wrote a song for her, yet speaks on her as if she has facts and not Internet rumors. She just so happens to do this while Beyonce is sitting at the top of the charts? Something is fishy.

Also, Beyonce gives writing credits to everybody and their mama, which is why people complain she has too many writers and this woman, who is riding on Bey's popularity is claiming otherwise. Nah.

Tiffany Red launched a songwriters union and non-profit 4 YEARS AGO AFTER a successful 17 yr songwriting career.

Tiffany stopped pitching songs for placements (she still writes on her own time) and became a songwriter's advocate because, thanks to streaming, it is no longer profitable.

Tiffany specifically stated why she's calling out Beyonce: Because she's the "Michael Jackson of her generation". She is the biggest recording artist on the planet.

Tiffany is advocating for Beyonce & big artists like her (Celine Dion does it too), to update their business practices and pay the songwriters their worth.

She regularly meets with labels, music publishers & the performing rights societies.

The work that Tiffany is doing is a GREAT thing & needs to be supported to make change so that writers can live & continue to write the soundtracks to our lives.

I support her & urge those in positions of (abuse of ) power (Sony Music Pub, Universal Music Pub, Warner Chappell Music Pub etc ) to do the same.
