Wendy Williams Goes Hungry Under Guardian?

Over the weekend former daytime talk show host Wendy Williams' restrictive court ordered guardianship was exposed in the "Where is Wendy Williams" documentary on Lifetime, after it was revealed she had been placed in an inpatient rehab facility unknown to her family, by her court appointed legal guardian to treat alcohol related dementia [click here if you missed that].

Wendy's longtime best friend Regina Shell, who appeared in the documentary, claims she was visiting Wendy before she was was admitted to rehab, and that Wendy had to wait hours and hours for food to be ordered because she didn't have any access to cash to order for herself..."

During a recent appearance on Chris Cuomo's NewsNation series, Cuomo, Regina claimed that the broadcaster had 'no access to her money' and had to ask permission from [her legal guardian] Sabrina [Morrissey] for any purchase she wanted to make - including meals.
She alleged that this sometimes meant Wendy would go hours on end without eating, which left Regina so worried that she started ordering food for her from across the country.
'When I was in New York and staying with Wendy in the summer, I noticed … she had no access to her money,' Regina shared on Monday evening.
'Every time she had to do anything that she had to pay for, she had to go through the guardian.
'And she would call to order her breakfast at 7:30 in the morning with the guardian, and she would take the order, but the order wouldn't show up until sometimes noon. So Wendy wouldn't have any food.'
Regina said that when she returned home to Los Angeles, she began sending her 'delivery service' because she was nervous that Wendy 'wasn't getting' enough to eat.
'When I went back to LA, I would have to send her food from Los Angeles to New York for delivery service, because she wasn't getting…' she trailed off.
'The communication wasn't there, and she had no other access to money than this guardian.
'That's what was concerning to me, because [Wendy] was telling me she didn't have food.

This blog is working for the bank or courts

Why is all of this coming out now? Why weren't these same people spilling the beans and running to the blogs before the documentary came out? Wendy truly has no real friends or family who cares for her because even I couldn't actually do something, I would say something. Her friend was hungry and courts are involved but she couldn't share this before now? No way I'd sit back and watch someone I love suffer, then cry about all their suffering after it's been revealed to the world.

Guardianship of seniors is problematic in many states and once it gets its hands on a "victim" it's hard to get free.

And the same way this "friend" ran when it was time to be filmed and talk to Chris Cuomo, she could've ran to somebody back then too. But I guess nobody felt the need to sound the alarm until it was time for them to be seen on TV. Smh

Bye Felicia, Wendy could order food how she ordered vodka. Quiet as it's kept Wendy didn't need to be cooking on nobody stove, probably burn the whole building down. Here's an idea call her favorite restaurants and set up auto delivery. These people so dramatic and dumb.

As shown in that Lifetime movie, Wendy can be ridiculously demanding and that makes it easy for people to take their time getting her what she wants.

Right! They're are 50-11 meal delivery services and she damn well could have had food delivered. Wendy alienated herself because she just wants to lie in bed and drink all day. Wendy a mean arrogant drunk.

She couldn’t have food delivered because she didn’t have access to her money. They made her wait and I understand.

Wendy should never have been shown in this light shows the losers hand she fell in this is horrible what ended up happening to her. I cant watch that mess. Her bio was good enough. She was what she was, but she is an undisputable GOAT. I legit miss hearing her two cents.
