This past award season Amanda was still persona non grata and she has something to say about it...

I try not to seek joy in the pain of others, but this woman caused so much friction and strife in my life that it feel — quite frankly — pretty good to see how poorly she’s aging. Karma is real. That is all.

7:22 it’s not one thing. But, behind the scenes it could be one or many of the issues listed below — all first hand experience for me specifically. Others I’ve met have similar stories about her.
#1 on my list - She pursues other people’s boyfriends. Although I’ll never be sure if she was successful in doing so, she tried her hardest to chase snd try to f*ck mine.
2: She was loose all over New York and slept with any rapper who would give her any kind of attention and then wonder why they didn’t want to wife her. Pick me energy with a trash personality.
3: She moved to LA because she had to. Her reputation was so contentious on the east coast, she had already started to experience what shes complaining about way back in like 2010.
4: She has public crying fits and meltdowns.
5: Her mother is involved in absolutely everything (annoying).
6: She is hot and cold. If you’re her friend prepared to be chewed out for something totally random and then talk smack about you to anyone who will listen. Im sure some bags were blocked on her accord.
7: Shes controlling and her ego wont let her be chill around those who may be more successful in areas she wanted (read: Issa).
8: She does NOT know how to apologize. That’s probably the #1 reason why most write her off. She cannot be wrong.meanwhile she treats service people like trash. The type to send food back at a restaurant but not before making a scene by berating the waiter so bad that im sure the whole table got their food spat on. Totally unrelated, she screamed at a delivery guy during covid that was tge brother of somebody famous that I know. Oops!
9: She’s generally an abrasive person who sucks to work with (I’ve tried) and i’d never hire her for a damn thing which sucks for her now that I work at a major entertainment studio and in a position to help her. Have a blocked her bags? Probably.
10: She could never get a very important concept through her head — treat people on your way up the way you want to be treated on the way down. Its part of the reason many wont help her now.
I commend Issa for standing on business. In fact it makes me like her more. I haven’t met Issa yet but anyone I know who has met or worked with Amanda is trauma bonded so I think we’ll get along just fine.

Her getting ran through by rappers/producers was a KNOWN fact, one that I'm not sure holds any sort of invalidation of her character. However, I too have had some professional and semi-personal dealings with Amanda, and she isn't the worst type of person, but she isn't the first to come to mind when considering personalities in the entertainment space.

All I can speak on is this......Just about EVERYONE from the insecure series is a hot MESS! Makes one wonder what sort of spellcasting and weird secs rituals took place on the set. No one except Issa Rae went on to major success, the rest of the cast either have meltdowns, drama, or they're just PLAIN WEIRD. It's like they can't seem to truly move past that show or Issa....is Issa a witch? Even Keke Palmer been on some weird ish since that series! Think about it. Then Yvonne ORJI claiming to be this Christian virgin but was probably the biggest hoe out of all the characters, why would a Christian virgin accept such a role? Why hasn't Kelly become a big breakout star--she was one of the favorites. It's like nothing good came from that show but strange behavior, negative drama and meltdowns.
When is Amanda going to realize that she's not well liked in Hollywood. People are annoyed by her behavior. There's a very well liked content creator on youtube who was once Amanda's assistant, Chris (cdiggi1) and he talks about how horrible she was to work with and so much so, that he had to quit.
