Beyoncé Finds No Takers for Ivy Park Partnership?

Last year pop star Beyoncé dropped the final Ivy Park collection with her fashion partner Adidas, after a five year run [click here if you missed that].

Now the athleisure arm of the fashion industry are whispering that Beyoncé can't find a new partner because she priced herself out of the market...

Last year, sportswear giant Adidas and Beyoncé severed their deal, ending the five-year collaboration on Ivy Park, claiming the decision was mutual and citing “major creative differences.”
An insider told me, “It was a $100 million deal — Adidas paid her $20 million a year for five years and, unlike their collaboration with Kanye and Yeezys, (Ivy Park) never made any money. They offered her another deal for $7 million a year, but she turned them down.”
Beyoncé then tried to go to Nike, which also turned her down. Both Adidas and Nike have been suffering from lackluster sales, and Nike just announced major layoffs.
“(Beyoncé) really loves fashion and wants to get back into it but needs the right partner,” the source added. Presumably, a deep-pocketed partner.

That clothing line was subpar. No one was buying or wearing it just like that tired azz House of Dereon mess that came before I y Park. And let's not forget that Ms. Tina clothing line that failed at Walmart. Beyodel should just accept no one wants her tacky, overpriced clothes.

So they never made money off of Ivy Park( not surprised), but they offered her another deal? Make it make sense...it's not!

She should have done the $7 million deal

The clothes would sell if she would get off her lazy ssa and promote them.

Honestly, I never saw anything that made the line stand out. The logo is boring. No vibrant colors. Nothing outstanding. I'm sick of lazy Black celebs feeling like throwing their name on something should be enough. Nicole Richie got House of Harlow on lock! Be creative and outstanding or sit down and enjoy your millions in peace.

If the quality, price and the designs were good, it would be a success.

Is her husband not "deep pocket?" Can they not peddle off her clothing line to their fans without an outside partner? Don't youtubers and amazon market people do it on their own without a deep pocket partner and not nearly as many followers? And if beyonce got dropped because of creative difference, seems like she would want to be independent of a partner, why would she run to Nike as if they were doing to just let her make a mess over there with their resources? Maybe the people are right, maybe she is lazy outside of stage performances. She wants a deep pocket partner for her clothing line so they're resources can take care of all the business aspects, she wants a zillion song writers to provide her with beats and lyrics, she wants everybody but herself modeling her products, lol. She wants to "re-create" others choreography, designs, etc and call it inspiration, because she's not a naturally talented actress, she just gives up instead of doing the work. Just don't want to do nothing the long and hard and independent way. Her daddy made her this way, with his scamming self

I have never seen or met anyone wearing Ivy Park. Selling out limited quantities of stock will never be successful. Her marketing tactics are also the worst I've ever seen, all she does is give freebies to other celebrities. She never taps into her lunatic fan base to give them anything for promotional purposes. She wants to be seen as someone who can sell anything but it's all smoke and mirrors.

Ivy Park belongs in the trash bin behind Walmart.

And it was too high

1230 exactly and that’s why that country BS is going to flop and they will cry out “racism” !! Yes she is nothing to aspire to just smoke and mirrors

When will Beyodel go away?

Anonymous said...

My question exactly, when will she go away or go somewhere and sit DOWN🤬

Anonymous said...

Why would you want her to go away? If she went away you would die of boredom. You would only be left with old music videos and I'm sure you have alreay commented on all of those. Lol

No one buys it or wears it.

It seem like she feels like she is above interacting with the public/her fans and that's why they don't really support her ventures outside of music. All the other celebs with products interact, do lives. She sends a box of products to her friends and they do the promo'n. It comes off fake and ingenuine money grabs.
