In a video streamed live on social media Cardi describes being pulled over, with helicopters circling, and being questioned by cops who didn't know who she was and treated her roughly, before eventually letting her go. She also said she's filing a lawsuit.

TMZ said they contacted the police and they have no record of it so they're saying she's lying. Prob to promote her album
LAPD got me once and helps me for no reason other than I was a black female in the hills and just looked suspicious. Never mind I’m in a luxury car and the real trouble maker was a homeless white man. Luckily my dash cam caught everything because when I went to report it they claimed it never happened. Yeah well my dash cam says otherwise. I love L.A. but they wrong on a lot of things. Including DA Gascon I swear he does NOTHING and still keep surviving recalls.
