Her take on Jolene is beyond awesome. The Miley collaboration is good and I like the intro of her daughter Rumi. Overall it’s a good album. Now hate on that. One more thing for black twitter to come at Beyoncé for not collaborating with black country artists, maybe for the songs she did their voice/vocals didn’t blend for this project and she work with who she thought was a good fit for “her” project , not for what you think

Now we’ve had RnB, Pop, Afrobreat, House and Country Beyoncé. I’m actually ready to see what she does with Act 3. Can we get more dancehall Beyoncé? Baby Boy and Standing on the Sun are still some of my favs.

Hear me out, besides from a few good Shania Twain songs and the sort I don't like country music. Now, I did give Nelly a try, but it was one song not a whole album. Honestly, this album wasn't made for me, it was made for country music lovers and idgad that is Beyonce. So good luck to her hope she's well received. Hey maybe Donald Trump will play one of her songs during one of his speeches.

she does not have a youthful voice. she can carry a melody for sure, but her voice has been aging which makes it hard to listen to her songs since Sasha Fierce. maybe something that the producer or sound engineer should fix. but her heavy, drawling aging voice is a burden to every song she's on.
That Sweet Honey song is a Patsy Cline song. She’s paying homage to some true legends, and should… even if they aren’t blk. Nice she’s including some contemporaries too. Wish she didn’t need to cuss tho. Mainstream country music does not include cussing.
@2:13, I agree her voice isn't the same. I listen because it's something different from her usual. However, you can definitely hear her struggling to hit note and the rasping sounds don't help. Her background singer sound much better than. They really make the sound and album. I have nothing against her venture into new territory, but its not what I expected.
Masterpiece! I love how she place the team of artist together. She does have Black artists on this album. Linda Martell is on there too which is beautiful and deep. Y’all need to read about her.. this lady is 82 years old and Beyoncé bring recognition to her.. lady is getting het coins too!
Not a fan. But this album is going to be fire for the country music fans and mainstream. I think she really did something with this. I don’t even pay any attention to her but this album is creative different and quite fresh. I’m here for it. Okay Bey! Do the damn thing then!
