Last month rapper Common appeared on the Jennifer Hudson Show and danced around the question of who he's dating [Psst: it's Jennifer], and coyly describes his girlfriend as an EGOT winner [click here if you missed that].

During an appearance on Tuesday's Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Hudson was asked about her and Common seemingly going public with their relationship on her talk show last month. On the Jennifer Hudson Show, both Hudson, 42, and Common, 51, described who they were dating without revealing any names.
As Kimmel, 56, pointed out viewers eventually realized they were talking about each other, Hudson joked on his show, "Is that what you gathered because I thought he was dating Whoopi Goldberg?" after the rapper mentioned his girlfriend was an EGOT winner.
To achieve EGOT status a performer must win an Emmy for television work, a Grammy for music, an Oscar for film and a Tony Award on Broadway.
