Mea Culpa is the No.1 Movie in 14 Countries

Over a week ago Tyler Perry's erotic thriller 'Mea Culpa" starring Kelly Rowland premiered at No. 1 on Netflix [click here if you missed that].

"Mea Culpa" is the gift that keeps on giving, still standing strong at No. 1 in 14 countries...

Maybe I'll watch if I'm bored and can't find something else more to my liking.

The movie is terrible but so was "Gone Girl" and the critics loved that one. Hmmmm.

Anyway congrats Kelly!!!

At lease Tyler hired better wig stylists.

Gone Girl wasn't as good as its book but it was okay. Mea Culpa didn't make sense to anyone who saw it. I'm still laughing at the funny trash reviews. Kelly should not act unless she's playing a manikin and Tyler needs his Mac revoked.

"Kelly can't act." "This movie is trash.", etc, etc. But Kelly got this movie to go number 1 in 14 countries with over 16 million views. Now that's what success looks like.

Few options. Sad. People should read more books.

It was good but I had some questions could have been a lil tighter with the writing.

@12:59 Success is not having everyone who sees your film laughing at you behind your back. Success is being able to demand script changes so the movie makes sense. Increase your standards.

Hmm, on the one side, laughter doesn't make Kelly lose any money. On the other side, 16 million views makes Kelly more money. Looks like a win-win situation to me.

Tyler and Kelly dont care about yall "laughing behind their backs". They get paid to do what they LOVE while 80% of yall dont even have 10,000 cash in your savings account after years of slaving away at a job that you hate.

This wasnt the best movie, but it deffinetly wasn't the worst either. Kelly did her thing. Congrats to her. My next question though: her "sista" sittin on her throne ova there witj 300+ milli followers said nothin...just silent, why??...WHY???

You must be talking about Kim K because Beyonce definitely promoted the film.

Like I said, increase your standards.

Plenty of people enjoyed the film.
Newsflash: The world does not revolve around what you and your 5 friends like.

No one's standards need to be increased. A movie doesn't have to be Oscar-worthy to be successful. It just has to lure an audience to see it. This movie has done that.

Do any of you remember what you wrote about this film a few days ago? It was trashed. Everyone agreed it didn't make any sense. It was a waste of time. This wasn't just one person talking; it was the universal agreement. So making a little money makes all that criticism go away? I guess you people deserve the quality of the films you get.

Still uninterested.

Kelly is a terrible actress and even if she were an amazing actress she will never escape Beyonce's shadow.

Her "fans" dont even respect her enough to stop comparing her to Beyonce after she asked yall over a dozen times. Haaaaa the jokes write themselves....

There are some that just don't get it. Views make a movie successful, not reviews. Oscar-worthy movies get good reviews most of the time but they are not successful if no one sees them. That's Business 101, folks. Congratulations, Kelly!
