Six years ago play-write Je'Caryous Johnson produced a stage version of the hit movie, "Set It Off" starring Da Brat, LeToya Luckett, Demetria McKinney and Kyla Pratt [click here if you missed that].
Now Stokley from Mint Condition has been cast as Rick James in the play "Super Freak" produced by Je'Caryous Johnson...

Interesting… I know Stokely can sing. I hope he can imitate Rick’s singing and I hope he can act too. Hope my only criticism is he needs a better braid wig bc that don’t look like Rick’s hair. You can tell Stokely is already enjoying that hair 😏

1:29 - I'm not crazy about that wig either but I'm trying my best to hold my judgement. I am really looking forward to this as a lifelong Rick James fan. They better do him right!
