Omg! she just proved the article's point. Didn't she just say last week that she was going to reflect on her attitude and delivery? I knew that was pure nonsense. She has no self-awareness and there is just no accountability. If many people has been saying the same thing about this woman for DECADES, they can't all be wrong. She should really examine herself. She's a bright woman, but has no tact and is very abrasive. She is probably afraid of doing the work but until she does, people's reaction to her is not going to change. I wish her all the best but she just doesn't get it.
Wow. The article is actually attacking statements that she's made, and not even her delivery. She does say some things that are problematic that appears to be uplifting, but is actually denigrating. Amanda is opinionated for sure, but the problem is that she assumes that her opinions are facts, and doesn't dare consider counterarguments that could be more plausible than hers. There's no self reflection or self analysis at all and that's the hubris that the writer is talking about.

A truly satisfying unraveling. And to think journalists you don't know you haven't heard plenty of stories by people who do. This is a very small town. Black media is even smaller. Word travels at warp speed.
