Atlanta Radio Execs Stop Taking Calls from The Breakfast Club
Last week there were reports that the nationally syndicated radio show, "The Breakfast Club," was being dropped from the airwaves in Atlanta [click here if you missed that].
This week The Breakfast Club co-host Charlamange tha God gave radio program directors at 105.3 the Beat in Atlanta, "Donkey of the Day," after admitting Atlanta radio execs have stopped taking their calls...
Charlamange also claims he and co-hosts Dj Envy and Jess Hilarious found out just like everyone else, online.
They don't see you so except it and move on. I don't listen to them either. Sounds like this shows run is about to fall apart. Once one station cancels others will follow.
I never got into them. I live in Atl and I'll either listen to my phone or listen to the Bert Show. Perhaps it's age, but Urban radio just doesn't appeal to me anymore.
People are over these three loud mouths who spew nothing but BS. Envy isn't trustworthy and a scammer. Charlemagne thinks he knows everything and says some really insulting things about black people. Jess is just taking a seat. I've been over this show and deleted them from my podcast library.
The democrats (probably) don't want anybody with a predominately black audience in a predominately black media market that they can't manipulate as operatives and use for free air time on the public airwaves, especially someone that may be pegged as a Trump supporter during an election year. They'd keep him if he kissed their collective butts.

Charmaine the @oon made incredibly offensive comments about DEI, at a time when black ppl are being fired and terminated from their positions. Charmaine is a shuck and jiving goon who needs his nucca wake-up call. I hope the cancel that trash @$$ show all together.

Did you see the black Trump supporters swooning over Trump in Atlanta @ the Chick fil a. They can’t stop the Trump train baby!!! 🚂 💨🇺🇸 MAGA!!!
I don't know what's worse, the fact that one man is look to as the answer for all questions when it's apparent the powers that be, be getting to that old man, or the fact there wasn't one young/middle-aged opponent worthy to actually run on either side. It's like the seniors are holding on to their representation as long as they could.
I feel like the independent party had a opportunity and it's over.
So much accuracy has been said in this post already. It's true tho. They/It wasn't the bastion of higher-minded consciousness as they thought themselves to be.
