Beyoncé Shares Her Cécred Wash Day Ritual

Last week there was a post about Beyoncé and Tina Knowle's, "Cécred," line of shampoo and conditioners and one of the big critiques was, "How could Beyoncé promote a hair care line when she always wears wigs [click here if you missed that]?"

Apparently lots of people were asking the same thing and Beyoncé is here with her Cécred wash day ritual to answer your questions...

Ok well I knew her hair was long because her mother did a video years ago so my question was why didn’t she use her own hair to promote so now she has do I guess I can hush. HOWEVER! Her hair product line was not out all these years so what was she using then? Beyond that ppl have to understand that everyone hair is different and your results will not be like anyone else’s hair health and growth is not just about the products you put on your hair but also about what you eat and your overall health! But her hair is thick and beautiful

The lengths she goes to fool people lol

Jane toussaint shows her hair. Oh boy

The answers you seek are in paragraph 3 Jcee

Welp, she just shut down the doubt I had of her not being able to promote her product.

So she couldn't just do a video? As a matter of fact, wouldn't it have made more sense to do a video alongside her product launch? That's how you know this is a money grab. These entertainers be playing in our faces and some of these obsessed fans just eat it up. smh

She should have rolled this out before or when the product line was coming out.

Her fans are like "she showing the haters" it's not hating, I just wanted to see something other than a wig to convince me to purchase her hair products.

So for all her delusional fans who swore that platinum wig was her hair, and cursing people out about it, you an now see it was/is a wig. And she's telling you she wears wigs to protect her hair so stop claiming these 30 and 40 inch buss downs are her hair. She definitely has lenghth, but Her own hair looks to be a a healthy 20 to 22. 💯🎯

OK? Her hair looks fantastic. But I dont believe it got that way from these products she is selling. Its like Cindy Crawford trying to convince us her skin look amazing due to her wrinkle creams when she most likely has Botox.
I wouldnt be surprised if Beyonce has access to a hair growth pill that isnt on the market yet....

She silenced the haters period 💅🏾💅🏾💅🏾

...what fried hair looks like.

It's AI which is why her face looks so weird in those clips.

Also Beyonce has a thick neck with lines. This one is skinny and smooth. I wonder who the real hair model is.

She has a beautiful head of hair. Why not wear it out and let her real hair be her signature look? Keeping black women broke and hooked on wigs and weaves must have been the agenda.

tough crowd. it's a video right in the post with Beyoncé explaining in her own voice why she waited to share her cerced video until after real people shared their product reviews first. Do she have to come in this thread and personally press play and read the post out loud before some of you actually take in the information first and hate second? Let me answer my own question. no

Sorry I love my Nubian heritage, I wear my hair in locs to my waist, even if I didn't loc it, it would be in a natural afro, and certainly not dyed Caucasian limp straight blond. Some of us are not imitatiing other racial features. Some of us actually love and celebrate us in all, our natural beauty.

Anonymous said...

12:26 that is so refreshing to hear! There was a boy with locs in the other thread who actually used the product and gave his honest opinion. A couple even had suggestions. it wasn't all blind devotion but it wasn't blind hatred either

Wow she wanted to prove that was there and shut y’all up. There you go

Quite reactive. If I have long, healthy hair and I'm selling a product I've been using for years to get it to that point, why would I wait until after people express skepticism to show proof? That's like someone losing hundreds of pounds via bariatric surgery then telling me to join their gym. Smoke and mirrors.

Exactly ^^^. My question is why is an alleged entertainment billionaire trying so so hard to push hair products? And using all kinds of AI to do it. Obviously something ain't right about this chick. But carry on.

@11:18. It's not about hating or jealousy cuz she ain't the first and won't be the last black woman to grow hair from her scalp. It's about lack of transparency and openness. Put simply don't try to convince me to do something I never seen you do.

Anonymous said...

She can keep her secret.

@2:40pm. It’s not about transparency. Y’all never asked Tia Mowry, Taraji or Traci Ross to use their products in front of y’all. Did you ask head and Shoulders to do it. Y’all always setting the goal post higher for Beyoncé. Either buy the product or go some where else to purchase.. jesus you all are full of it

Whether her hair products are good or not, Jane Doe doing her own hair vs. Ms. Paid and laid with a professional doing her hair everytime a hair is out of place will have different experiences. This goes for Beyonce's line and everyone else's. Spare me the products and give me your professionals, then I'm sure we'll all have a similar experience.

6:14, Bish go somewhere. I never used not one celebrity product in my life so stop the noise. And as far as head and shoulders, I can walk into a store and make my own decision to buy that item based on seeing it in person, looking at the ingredients and comparing it to other products on the shelf. So miss me with that poor Beyodel has different goals BS. And even if she did, so what? She's a peddler who expect people to hop, skip and jump because her name's on something so she should stand on business if that's the case. FOH.

6:14pm she’s a Black woman who happens to own businesses. So of course she’s going to sell her products. That’s something many of you all don’t understand unless it’s Mr. Charlie peddling as you say to you. She’s selling just like every business owner. I know because that’s what I do SELL each and every minute of the day!

I’m 6:14 pm and 8:56pm that message was for you 7:07pm

Anonymous said...

7:07 It’s ok that you go inside Mr. Charlie store and buy from him because thats what you are use to doing. No one said not check the ingredients and know what’s in it. Of course I do that with all products whether it’s a Black woman celebrity female or not. checking ingredients goes without saying. I’m checking ingredients but I’m definitely not going to bash them for selling me a product.

She must have grown her hair over the last 10 years cos when Blu was a baby her hair was short in a ponytail, looking busted.

Beyoncé is a liar.

My grandmother from the south
Used mayonaise, eggs, olive oil
Sometimes a bit of vaseline
Jamaican castor oil heated up
As a good conditioner
Sometimes Apple Cider vinegar
And most of the females in family
Have strong healthy hair
But I get it
Times have changed
And people just want a new experience
