Immediately Tasha began bragging about how she ain't got it and she ain't going to pay it. Then, after exhausting all her appeals, Tasha filed for bankruptcy and took a month long trip to her husband's home country in Africa, filmed the entire time, and even made a joke about hiding her money in an African bank [click here if you missed that].
Turns out Tasha wasn't joking. She put her whole plan on the Internet and Cardi sent an investigator to Africa to find the money...
According to Hip Hop Enquirer's Dennis Byron Cardi has spent a cool $1.3 million fighting this case and found Tasha's accountant by staking out her house and job, who according to Dennis spilled her guts because she's not willing to go to jail for Tasha. Dennis also said another person from Tasha's camp has flipped, too.
Meanwhile, Dennis claims Cardi's high powered legal team were able to find the Trust and all the off-shore bank accounts, partly because Tasha corresponded with her accountant via Gmail, which is the easiest to subpoena.
But that's not all, the courts have shared the information with the IRS, the Feds, the State and the Bankruptcy court because Tasha didn't set up the trusts until after she was SPECIFICALLY told not to move any money.
