Last month West Coast rapper Kendrick Lamar went radio silent after dropping an uncredited verse dissing Canadian rapper Drake on Future and Metro Boomin's "Like That [click here if you missed that]."
Drake responded after a few days and began taunting Kendrick after it appeared he was backing down from the fight [click here if you missed that].

Kendrick deserves this. He is a lyricist and Drake is the most significant opponent when it comes to the art of it and the fame of it. It set a historical stage for more not just popular but talented individuals to keep the true meaning of hip hop alive. Let's be honest, it's a big up to Drake because it's recognition in the rap game, not just the charts.
Anyways, we all know how he feels, to beat this ninja in a rap battle he's gonna need A.I and bring ninjas back from the grave to keep up with K.L. Is it a joke and unfair to Kendrick? Probably, but Drake was chosen by the fans, just like Em.
Honestly, it's crazy that Wayne didn't hop on a track with Drake instead of Pac. Because at the very least Wayne is a dope lyricist, but I guess he don't want people saying Drake tryna stunt like his Daddy.

Nah, it's more so because he Canadian. I know it doesn't make it less than, BUT he uses the n-word when he's from a different country. Let me simplify this on a high level for those that don't understand. The N-word is an American thing it comes from slavery. While any person of color can catch the label quick in America, it's idolization when you NOT from America. Now you can do your research and give me the the deets. American history is American history and while the astrocies may lies in Canada (where slaves escape because slavery didn't exist) the meaning behind the term, which has its incrinties, is just that. Don't call me boy don't call me ninja, his race isn't the basis his origin is, though he made faced adversities. Drake doesn't know the true struggles from the word that evolved into endearment because of trauma response.

I dislike everything about current mainstream but Kendrick Lamar is one of the few talented people still around. That guy is lethal with words. Drake should just lay down and play ded because it's not going to get any easier.
10:46 am, I think it's a stretch to say that counts, but hey I have seen worse excuses to be exempt/allowed. Also, I don't think it's that serious, it's a gag for sure. Noone really pressing Drake, he made some bangers and is apart of YMCB.
