RIHANNA has swooped to take something fans believe is rightfully Katy Perry's.
Katy voiced the character Smurfette in the first two movies of The Smurfs trilogy.
However, Rihanna will voice Smurfette in the upcoming Smurf movie, which will be released in 2025.
Fans on X, fka Twitter, were upset at Katy not reclaiming the role.
"...WAS KATY PERRY BUSY?!?!? IM SORRY I LOVE RIHANNA BUT THIS IS KATY PERRY'S ROLE," one fan exploded on the social media platform.
"This is the closest we're getting to a Katy x Rihanna interaction nowadays," another remarked.
