Three years ago rapper Common dumped comedian Tiffany Haddish over the phone after a year-long public romance [click here if you missed that].
In a new interview Tiffany, who is now practicing celibacy, claims Common pursued her for two years before she agreed to go out with him, and now she's noticed a distinct pattern in his dating cycle...

So far, the celibate lifestyle is working out for the notoriously six-positive star. "You know what I noticed," she says. "When you don't [have six], it's like men love you even more. They work even harder. Take you on trips. They be in love. They're like, 'I've never been in a relationship like this. It's amazing!' and I'm like 'We in a relationship? I thought you were just taking me to eat.'"
When it comes to the hit comedian, actress and author's last known relationship, with rapper Common, 52, she says he pursued her for some time prior to them dating in 2020.
"The only celebrity I've entangled with, it was two years of him chasing me down before I finally was like, 'Okay, let's do something'," she says of her ex. "That was top of 2020, but we met at the beginning of 2018, 2017."
Common and Haddish seemed happy over the year and a half that they dated, with Common telling PEOPLE in July of 2021, "I need to enjoy life. So I feel, with Tiffany and I, I've been experiencing that and I'm grateful for that."
But according to Haddish, the pair had quietly gone their separate ways as of August of 2021. "It wasn't mutual," Haddish told The Washington Post months later. "It was more him saying, 'I think this relationship has run its course.’"
Now, having contemplated her ex's dating history, Haddish says she's not surprised by the timing of their split. "It's every two years. It's like six to nine months single and then two years on [in a relationship] and then six to nine months single and then two years on. That's his schedule. That's his cycle."
That said, "I ain't mad at that," says Haddish. "There's a gang of old a-- men that's not famous that's doing the same thing."

This is an observation you make BEFORE you get in a relationship or give this type of man the time of day! Tiffany you knew his dating history because it was public this is something you could have avoided us BW tend to think we gone be different or we can change a man.

Let this dude date. Maybe he wants a wife, maybe he doesn’t. Cycle or not, now you know. It’s on you to decide whether you’re dating too or whether you need to see every relationship as your husband. Stay alone or date…your call.
Common is an unheard little girl looking for a woman/mother to save him from the abuse he endured as a child.
Maybe she's talking bout it because they asked????
It's too obvious that he is an opportunist...chasing the next it girl so he can benefit from the exposure.
Maybe she didn't have to answer or say that chapter of her life is closed and she's focused on the future. But she still want him so Instead she outchea worried about Common's dating patterns when she needs to be worried about her own drinking patterns.
