Ty Dolla $ign Dropped From Coachella Over Kanye West?

Two months ago rappers Ty Dolla $ign and Kanye West dropped their chart-topping joint album "Vultures II [click here if you missed that].

Now insiders claim Ty was barred from performing at this year's Coachella Music Festival because of his association with Ye...

From The Sun
RAPPER Ty Dolla $ign was booted from the Coachella lineup after allegedly being in talks to perform before releasing his album with Kanye West.
The Carnival hitmaker has been a guest of many artists over the years including Post Malone and Future and was excited to be in the 2024 lineup, according to a source.
But the insider says he was left "fuming" after talks to book him broke down as he worked on his Vultures record with Kanye following his anti-Semitic comments.
"Ty has been a guest for so many people and would of course loved to have played Coachella, but he believes he's been canceled by association," a source told The U.S. Sun.
"The album has been so popular despite not being released on a label, but it seems organizers Golden Voice did not want to deal with the headache of booking him or Kanye.
"He was not impressed and has complained to friends about it as Coachella is a bucket-list gig for most artists and he'd been working his way up."
It is not known whether a contract had been drawn up, but insiders say Golden Voice has been known to drop acts in the past even if they signed a deal as there are also several exclusivity clauses.
They include prohibiting artists from participating "at any other North American festival from December 15th to May 1st [and] in the counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Santa Barbara, Ventura, or San Diego from December 15th to May 1st."
The U.S. Sun has reached out to Ty Dolla $ign's rep and Golden Voice for comment.
