KeKe Palmer Reveals Scream Queens Co-Star Made Racist Remark

Actress KeKe Palmer recalls 'Scream Queens" cast-member hurling racial remark on set...

Keke Palmer claims one of her “Scream Queens” castmates made a racist remark toward her on set.
In her forthcoming memoir, “Master of Me: The Secret to Controlling Your Narrative,” Palmer alleges a co-star referred to by the pseudonym “Brenda” lashed out at her during their time on the Ryan Murphy show.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Palmer recalls the incident took place after Brenda got upset over “a clash with a colleague.”
When Palmer attempted to diffuse the situation by telling her that they should “have fun and respect each other,” Brenda allegedly fired back, “Keke, literally, just don’t. Who do you think you are? Martin F–king Luther King?”
In her interview with the LA Times published Sunday, the “Nope” star, 31, declined to reveal her co-star’s identity because she wanted to “take the power out of [Brenda’s] words.”
“It was such a weighted thing that she said, but I didn’t allow that weight to be projected on me, because I know who I am,” Palmer said.
“I’m not no victim. That’s not my storyline, sweetie. I don’t care what her ass said. If I allow what she said to cripple me, then she would.”
Palmer starred in “Scream Queens” alongside Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin and Billie Lourd. The show ran for two seasons from 2015 to 2016.
Shortly after Palmer’s interview was published, fans took to social media to speculate about which actress made the alleged remark.
“It was Lea Michele,” one user claimed along with screenshots showing that Palmer follows Roberts, Breslin and Lourd on Instagram — but not the “Glee” alum.
