Kendrick Lamar Deebo's Ice Cube's Release Date

During West Coast rapper Kendrick Lamar's historic "Pop Out" Juneteenth concert, several notable West Coast OGs were absent including rappers Ice Cube, Game and Snoop Dogg [click here if you missed that]. 

At first I thought it was a coincidence, that is until Kendrick released his surprise album on Ice Cube's already established new album release date...

For the past few weeks Ice Cube has been heavily promoting his new album, "Man Down," on social media, even hosting a live Q&A on TikTok. 

Then Kendrick dropped on Cube's day and completely took over the Apple Music charts and the conversation. 

Fun Fact: On Ice Cube's single "Ego" from the "Man Down" album Ice calls himself Kendrick before Kendrick. 

Kendrick's GNX is currently the No.1 album on Apple Music, while Ice Cube sits at No. 39.
