Because of that incident, Jeezy does not feel safe with Jeannie walking around his house...
From In Touch
Jeezy said he fears his ex-wife, Jeannie Mai, walking around his home and wants the court to put up boundaries for her upcoming visit, In Touch can exclusively report.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Jeezy, 47, and Jeannie, 45, were going back and forth in court about furniture purchased during their marriage and various other issues.
Jeannie claimed that she had property at Jeezy’s home that needed to be picked up. The exes faced off with each other and testified at a hearing in November.
The judge ruled that Jeannie had 21 days to pick up the items that Jeezy placed in boxes, including her Emmys and other trophies, make-up, books, photographs, handbags, shoes and other personal items.
Now Jeezy asked the court to step in before there are issues. He said the court order allows Jeannie to walk through the entirety of the marital residence with an escort selected by Jeezy to ensure all personal items are collected.
Jeezy’s lawyer said the entertainer is “perfectly fine with [Jeannie] coming to his residence to retrieve her personal property.”
However, he said Jeezy had “legitimate concerns about Jeannie being able to walk through the whole house.”
He claimed he had issues when she came to the home in September 2023, shortly after their split.
He claimed she downloaded part of the security system footage showing him locking all his doors while holding a firearm.
He said Jeannie used the video footage in a further effort to “justify withholding” their daughter from having custody time with him.
"[Jeannie] is angry about the parties divorce and she is revengeful. In addition, the mere presence of [Jeannie] inside [Jeezy’s] home and personal space, after the highly contested nature of the divorce case, would absolutely destroy [Jeezy’s] peace and tranquility, as well as invade his privacy,” his lawyer added.
Jeezy asked that Jeannie not be allowed to walk around the home freely and for her to just collect the boxes he had packed.
