Now Pisciotta is asking the court to allow her to serve Kanye notice in the newspaper after he moved to Japan...
From The Sun
Lauren Pisciotta has been trying to serve Kanye for months, but he is believed to have moved to Japan
KANYE West's former assistant is asking a court to let her serve the star via a newspaper after an "extensive investigation" to try and locate him failed.
Lauren Pisciotta, 36, sued Kanye in June 2024 for sixual harassment, breach of contract, and wrongful termination.
New court documents obtained by The U.S. Sun now read, "Kanye West a/k/a YE has not been served despite extensive investigation and efforts to effectuate personal service. YEEZY Construction, Inc. appears to be a defunct entity.
"Plaintiff personally served the agents for service of process for Kanye West a/k/a YE's alter ego entities YEEZY, LLC, YEEZY FOOTWEAR, LLC, and YEEZY APPAREL, LLC.
"Their respective time to respond to the First Amended Complaint passed."
Pisciotta's team explained: "The end of year Holidays and the respective Eaton and Palisades fires have delayed Plaintiff getting before this Court ex parte to get an order allowing for service of Kanye West a/k/a YE by publication.
"Plaintiff intends to be before the Court in the next 5 — 10 business days."
The court filing is dated January 22, and the next hearing is scheduled in Los Angeles on January 29.
Previous documents show Pisciotta's legal team said West "is either out of the country and/or evading service."
Her counsel plans to place an advertisement in a newspaper informing him of the suit instead of personally serving him after failing to locate him.
