Now attorney attorney Tony Buzbee claims there were never any plans to release the tape....

The lawyer representing the woman accusing Shannon Sharpe of rape will not be releasing the video that allegedly depicts the two engaging in six ... calling it "key evidence" in their case against the former NFL star.
Tony Buzbee tells TMZ Sports ... he and his client -- who filed a lawsuit against Sharpe earlier this month for sixual assault using the pseudonym Jane Doe -- have zero plans right now to put the footage out to the media.
"The only reason you know about the existence of a video recording is that Mr. Sharpe specifically referenced it in his bulls*** statement," Buzbee said. "The contents of the video was shared during the mediation process with Sharpe’s attorneys. Again, Sharpe and his team disclosed that, not us. Sharpe himself was offered on more than one occasion to view it himself. He declined. We've never made any claims or threats about it and won't do so."
"And no," he added, "we won’t be 'releasing' the video as it is key evidence in the case and will be treated as such."
Fun Fact: All references to Shannon Sharpe have been deleted from Tony Buzzbee's social media.

Thank you because these people think a case is supposed to be tried in the media talkum bout "where's the evidence" for this case and for the Diddy trial as well. Like wait a dang minute. Evidence is for court proceedings and the TRIAL.

Sharpe disclosed it because she was only showing bits and pieces. He wanted her to show everything if she was goig to show anything.
No need for her to release the video now. The first part of her plan is done. His reputation is ruined. What's next? A civil suit? A book, movie, sumpin else?
She and Buzbee have plans to bankrupt Sharpe. Oh well.

@4:25 Because she recorded them and he didn’t. He probably didn’t know she was recording, but he knows what was on the video because he was there. She only showed him and his lawyers bits and pieces of the video and Sharpe said show the whole dam thing if you gon’ show it at all.
