Did you guys hear about the silver tsunami? This is what is about to happen to all of the baby boomers that receive loans that my people could not get. They are now dying and leaving $77 trillion in real estate to their descendants. Yet they say stuff like we wasn’t slaves and work harder and pull yourself up by your bootstraps. All the while they are inheriting homes that are parents and grandparents were unable to buy because of redlining and housing restrictions. So yes, we were not slaves but policies put into place after slavery. Make sure we short-lived like slaves. Black history fact.

Beautiful story. Throughout all her trials she still had enough love to give 48 foster kids. How many people today could say the same.
