Chris Brown Sang for Inmates in UK Lock Up

Last week Chris Brown was released from a UK prison on a $6 million bond after being charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm [click here if you missed that].

Sources inside the lock-up say Chris was respected by the inmates and sang for them to pass the time...

From The Sun
CHRIS Brown sang in prison for his fellow inmates and wrote a thank-you note to one for looking after him.
Fans of the US R&B star, 36, feared he would be targeted by prisoners after being refused bail on a GBH charge.
But lags ensured he came to no harm at privately run HMP Forest Bank in Salford, Gtr Manchester.
A source told The Sun: “Sometimes people will be targeted if other inmates know they have money, but they looked after him instead.
“They know he’s famous and also American so not really aware of how prisons work over here.
“He had no treats so all he could do was order the basic food you’re offered. When it was lock up at night-time, some of them were shouting, ‘Sing us a song Chris!’.”
Brown also wrote and signed a note to an inmate called Dave before he was released on £5million bail on Wednesday.
It read: “To Dave, Thank you my brother, I appreciate everything you’ve done for me while I’ve been banged up. Keep being a good person. God sees all and he sees your heart. You’ll be home soon my bro. Cheers!!”
