CASSIE Ventura is set to return for a fourth consecutive day of cross-examination as the trial of Sean 'Diddy' Combs continues into its fifth day.
Dawn Richard, a former member of two groups formed by Combs, is also expected to appear as a witness today.
Richard will take the stand after Cassie, the government's star witness, testified for four days about the abuse she suffered at the hands of Combs.
As the defense tried to prove Cassie was a consenting adult in Combs' drug-fueled sex marathons called "freak-offs," Cassie alleged Combs raped her while she was dating her now-husband Alex Fine..
Cassie is set to finish her time on the stand on day five of the trial, hours after Justin Bieber broke his silence about online rumors theorizing he was targeted by Combs, who was once his mentor.
"Although Justin is not among Sean Combs' victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him," a spokesperson for Bieber told TMZ:
"Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve."
Danity Kane member Aubry O'Day is also expected to take the stand.
