This week the Tony Award nominations were announced and neither Denzel Washington nor Jake Gyllenhaal received a nom for their work in Othello [click here if you missed that].

They may have charged $800 a ticket but Denzel and Gyllenhall weren't that special. You can see a better Othello at NYC's free Shakespeare In The Park this summer.
^^ kandi has 1 grammy from "no scrubs". the tony was in reach, (along with the other 30 othello 'producers', but please tell me where she's gonna get an oscar and an emmy from?
This is why you can't try and cheat your way to get an EGOT, especially when you're only piggybacking off of someone else's success. Her association with the play is probably why Othello was passed up.

She is trying her hardest. She can't count that Mask Singer win for nothing. LOLO
