Text Messages Undermine Diddy Case

On Cassie Ventura's last day on the stand for Bad Boy Entertainment CEO, Sean 'Diddy' Combs' RICO trial, Diddy's defense team reveal that he and Cassie continued to text each other after her marriage to Alex Fine and that she became jealous after Diddy declared Kim Porter his soulmate in a social media post four days after Kim's passing...

Diddy's defense presented an unflattering text in which Cassie complained about him referring to Kim Porter, the mother of some of his children, as his 'soulmate' after her shock death in 2018.
The defence tried to depict Cassie as a scorned ex-girlfriend who never received the status she asked for in her 11-year romance with the mogul.
'You posted Kim was your soul mate. What was the 11 years all about? That hurt my feelings,' she wrote, four days after Porter's death from pneumonia.
By then, Diddy and Cassie's relationship was falling apart.
It was after the 2016 beating in a California hotel, and after years of freak-offs.
When Porter died suddenly, Diddy took to social media.
He wrote of her: 'We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER S**T!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love.'
Cassie previosuly admitted she’d get angry that Combs was going on vacations with his children and Porter, and that he was spending holidays with them instead of her.
Cassie testified that she broke up with Diddy for good in August 2018 after she saw a photo of him with another woman he’d been dating for the last few years of their decade-long relationship.
'I just don’t trust anymore. That last shot put the nail in the coffin,' Casse texted Combs, referring to the photo of Combs with a woman identified in court as Gina [Huynh].
'I promised myself I wouldn’t be with you anymore if you did that to me again,' Cassie wrote, telling Combs 'you lied to me' and 'she never went away.'
Soon after, Cassie said, she started dating her now husband, Alex Fine.
Cassie and Diddy kept exchanging warm messages after their breakup, even after she married her husband, Alex Fine, in 2019.
In one message, Combs described Cassie as his 'ride or die always,' and one of the 'greatest women in the world.' She told Combs that the messages “blew my mind a bit' and told him 'I don’t hate you. I never have.'
In another message, she told him: 'I wouldn’t be at this beautiful point in my life if I hadn’t been with you.'

it's called Stockholm Syndrome. If you have ever been in a relationship with a narcissist, you become addicted to the highs and lows of the relationship. It's like a drug. You get so conditioned to accept chaos and the make up to break up cycle that you don't know what to do when the relationship ends besides go back to that person for more . I have been there an I empathize with her because everyone wants to say she was complicit in the abuse but abusive relationships are a rollercoaster of push an pull. I hope he gets the sentence he deserves.

Folks come up with every excuse in the book for Cassie. Yes, she was a battered woman. But, no, she wouldn't have put up with it if he was Sean from the warehouse. They were cordial afterwards. She was paid well to be his human whipping post. "I wouldn’t be at this beautiful point in my life if I hadn’t been with you." That quote from her says it all.

Diddy played both Kim and Cassie. Period.

She was drunk texting. Next.

I believe the stockholm syndrome too.

The difference between Cassie and R. Kelly's victim is that Kelly's women were physically and psychologically trapped while Cassie was only trapped psychologically. Same result. Look up Patty Hearst.

How did this undermine Diddy's case? Sounds more like it undermined Cassie as an unwilling victin under duress.

Okay, I get it. Maybe whoever wrote that headline meant to say underscored Diddy's case but they didn't know the correct word.

The only thing I side eye with Cassie is her being able to move on so quickly, marry, and have kids with her husband after experiencing so much trauma at the hands of Diddy. It’s like she jumped out the frying pan and into the fire w/o giving herself time to heal.

The main difference with RKelly is him being by a pedophyl

Cassie was the nasty side piece thought she would become a wife.

If you ask Cassie if she could start her life over before she got involved with Diddy but be $20 million lighter, she'd say no. That's all you need to know to believe that she's a victim. The azz whoopings wasn't the last straw. Her jealousy was. Weak.

If Diddy would marry Cassie we wouldn’t be reading this and they would still be having freak offs… she’s a woman scorned. Stockholms my azz.. try gold digging skeezer

Always thought Cassie was shady. I guess she thought doing all those freak.off would put her above Kim. That's Stockholm syndrome? Made it about her hurt feelings even when Kim was dead. That's deep. Regardless Cassie deserved that pay because she put in that work no normal b*sh could fathom.

THIS IS NOT STOCKHOLM SYNDROME! Cassie is just like any other woman in a relationship with a person that isn't her match. But Diddy did NOT have mind control over this girl. Let people be accountable for their own actions, just because you don't like the fact that she and Diddy were more alike than you want to admit, doesn't mean it's any less true. Deal with it however you need to. For the record, I have always despised Diddy.

As a mental health professional, this is NOT stockholm syndrome. She has admitted to writing a book with her mother and sending chapters to him in an attempt to blackmail him for money. She also displayed other various behavior that would be vindictive in nature. Thus she was in her complete faculties. She wasn't sympothizing with him. She was weighing her options. Please stop diagnosing people. Let's wait until all the evidence is presented.
