Cynthia Erivo said she laughed it off when people said it was “blasphemy” to cast her, a Black queer woman, as Jesus Christ in an upcoming Los Angeles production of “Jesus Christ Superstar.”
“Why not?” the “Wicked” star told Billboard with a shrug. “You can’t please everyone. It is legitimately a three-day performance at the Hollywood Bowl where I get to sing my face off. So hopefully they will come and realize, ‘Oh, it’s a musical, the gayest place on Earth.’ ”
The production, which will run from August 1 through August 3, will also feature Adam Lambert in the choice role of traitor Judas.

She technically has a good voice but she can't interpret a song vocally. It's just not there. I would never pay to hear her in concert. She's boring and perfect for white audiences who don't know what the real thing sounds like.
These wicked people(Hollyweird) do this type of shenanigans as a way to "Mock Jesus Christ." So my question is, "Why do Hollyweird always mock Jesus, use His name in vain in every one of their movies, use His name as a curse word, make movies off of Him, etc...But they claim they don't believe in Him?" Make it make sense!!! Welp, one day it won't be funny anymore and they will get their "Just" wages. So, carry on!
