Two months ago actress KeKe Palmer axed her interview with actor Jonathan Majors after fierce social media backlash surrounding his domestic violence conviction [click here if you missed that].
Keke explains why she did it...
From Variety
Palmer said the team behind her podcast pulled the Majors episode “based off of the reaction” of having Majors on as a guest, adding: “People felt it was insensitive. I always want to be respectful and understand where everybody’s coming from. If they’re not going to feel like they’re going to receive anything good from the interview, then okay, cool. But I sat down with the brother for us to talk and let him be heard. I mean, people sit down with serial killers.”
“I’m not comparing him to a serial killer,” Palmer continued. “At the end of the day, I felt as a journalist, I’m supposed to talk and let the public decide how they want to feel. But that didn’t get a chance to happen. I wish them all the best. I really want to say that because I don’t judge nobody because I don’t want to be judged. So at the end of the day, I’m happy for Meagan. I’m happy for them. Maybe one day, we get a chance to put [the podcast interview] out. I’m not sure.”

That is the problem she referred to herself as a journalist, she isn't she is an actress with a podcast there is a huge difference,
So basically she thought her ratings would tank if she aired it. How's it doing now? 🤔 I've never listened to her podcast so I don't know if it's any good.
I am all for 'Supporting Victims In DV Situations'... But, in regard to the Jonathan Majors situation, I cannot unsee the Chase Video that happened In New York City... Smh, A Whyte Woman & Her TEARS, Carries A Lot Of Weight, In Court Decisions Involving them having an Altercation With Blackmen... PERIOD!!! Historically speaking this unbalance has happened many times...
Why didn't her team say something before the interview? I call BS. Stand 10 toes down if your going to let him speak his peace. Yt women get away with murder and lies. LOLO
I never thought she should have cancelled the episode. YT tears and lies don't sway me.
She obviously doesn't know the first thing about journalism. She should stay in her lane.
Her ratings was her focus not her support of others. This had nothing to do with her situation as it was totally different. That man was being chased and didn’t want her near him but she provoked him and put on the tears for sympathy. Black mammies and Pick Me’s get on my nerves trying to cancel certain black men. Jonathan isn’t perfect as we all are not but I never believed he should have lost those contracts and such.
