Nelly Cheating Rumors Debunked

Last week rumors circulated online that rapper Nelly had been caught cheating on his wife, Ashanti [click here if you missed that].

NELLY and Ashanti faced cheating rumors just days before their new show dropped, as a woman claimed she had a sexual encounter with the rapper.

The couple, who previously dated on and off for over a decade in the early aughts, wed in late 2023 and Ashanti, 44, gave birth to their son, Kareem Kenkaide Haynes, in July 2024.

However, earlier this week, a person posting under the Instagram handle niyahhsymonee claimed to have had a dalliance with the rapper just weeks ago.

In a comment the Instagram user posted, she said: "He had me s*****ing two weeks ago," along with four laughing emojis before she continued, "but to the internet they the perfect couple."

The comment was shared widely by blogger Tasha K on her Unwine With Tasha K Instagram account.

However, in the comments, a woman, whose Instagram handle is angelantionette, said the original poster of the vulgar comment had stolen her photos.

The angelantionette account wrote: "Smh. This is a FAKE ACCOUNT USING MY PICTURES. Stop believing everything on the internet."

She also responded to other people in comments who hit out at her employer, saying: "thats a fake account using my pictures."

Upon inspection, the angelantionette account has existed since 2015, and has a variety of photos and story highlights dating back five years.

The account with the lurid claims has since been deleted.
