The hotel and Diddy vioated the statue on that by exchanging/accepting payment. The hotel is in trouble too that's probably why they testified so no charges would be filed on them. All DV incidents that happen in hotels, hospital, public schools ect are supposed to be reported by staff. Thats the difference between just a regular bribe versus Rico. Thats why they charged him with that crime and that's why the hotel sold him out all these years after. They both know they took the payoff and the hotel blinked first.
