After debuting at No. 1 on Netflix globally [click here if you missed that], Tyler Perry's Staw, starring Taraji P. Henson, Sherri Shepherd, and Teyana Taylor hits crosses milestone...
this movie was horrible n black women who praise this garbage should be dealt with. How dare we approve of this sorry film with another sad ending. DAFUQQQ
One of my sisters said it was good. The other said it was melodramatic with dramatic twist at the end. As a writer it's hard for me to watch Perry's movies... Imma have to be super bored one day... but Ill try to watch this one............
For a second time since the 6888 he hasn’t villainized black women in a film. Instead he put our struggles on the screen to show the world black women are worthy of empathy. We carry the world on our back and never get a thank you.
Look at what’s going on now. We fought in the elections and Palestinians, Hispanics and white Americans are asking why aren’t we protesting, and Asians are demanding laws put into place to protect us be stripped away.
Forget ALL we go thru and have been thru. We are always looked upon to be strong when we suffer just like everyone else. It’s sad it takes a film to teach people compassion but hopefully people will see us for the humans we are, and not the wonder women they always want us to be.
Folk Probably Expect You 2 Be A 'Wonder Woman' When You Spend A Great Deal Of Time Talking About How 'Wonderful' U R. "MAGIC"... "Unicorns"...Queens(Rulers)...Even GOD(goddess's). Y'all Call Ordinary(non-Super) Women 'BASIC B*****s'.
Heard it was very good good, but another downtrodden black woman story. Told to get my tissues together. With that being said, I'm not watching. I don't have the bandwidth to be crying over a moving. I deal with enough in my real life. Congrats to Tyler, cast and crew though.

I laughed a lot during this movie. It was unintentionally funny. Taraji cries in every movie she does. Her tears don't move me.
I turned it on to laugh but ended up crying at the end. This movie is an improvement from the other movies for sure.
Never a dull moment when it comes to us and our trauma.
I’m just glad there wasn’t any gay ish in the movie.
I'm just glad there were not any church scenes in the movie. Maybe Tyler is finally waking up and abandoning that fairytale BS.
