Half of yall up here love Angela Bassett and say she should be on her 4th Oscar but most of her roles were just like the one in Straw.
I agree with the moaning around here! I wasn’t in the mood for Sinners, but I watched it, supported it, and loved it. I’m not a TP fan and def wasn’t in the mood for Straw, but I watched it, supported it, and it turned out to NOT be a waste of my time. It was so not horrible and I was actually pleased to see various blk female characters in this film (that weren’t all written the same way) so I liked it way more than I thought I would.
