Beyoncé and Jay-Z may have a slight family feud.

After all, Mrs. and Mr. Carter each snagged a nomination for the 2025 Emmys in the Outstanding Variety Special (Live) category July 15.

For her part, Beyoncé is nominated for her Netflix NFL Halftime show Beyoncé Bowl, while Jay-Z—alongside Dave Free—snagged a nomination as an executive producer for the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show Starring Kendrick Lamar. Other contenders in the stacked category include The Oscars, SNL50: The Anniversary Special and SNL50: The Homecoming Concert.

Jay-Z previously took home the award in the category in 2022 for his work on the Apple Music Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show starring Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kendrick, and 50 Cent.
