Brandy Norwood and her daughter Syrai Smith star opposite each other in a new Christmas movie on Lifetime...
From Deadline
It’s a family affair for Grammy Award-winning singer and actress Brandy Norwood, who will star opposite her daughter Sy’Rai Smith, in her acting debut, in the new Lifetime holiday film Christmas Everyday.
The title, which Norwood also executive produces, will serve as the tentpole to the network’s “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” slate. Additional titles will be announced soon.
In Christmas Everyday, Norwood portrays Francine “Fancy” Ballantine, a devoted fashion designer juggling family obligations and career ambitions.
Following the death of her father, Fancy has been more determined than ever to uphold his cherished Christmas traditions as her mother Evelyn (Debbi Morgan) has also begun losing her sight. But things aren’t a smooth ride as Fancy simultaneously plans her bridezilla baby sister, Belle’s (Smith), wedding. When a water pipe bursts and disrupts the fairytale wedding plans, Fancy finds herself unexpectedly drawn to the rugged, yet charming, contractor Jaylen (Robert C Riley), tasked with renovating the house. Through all the chaos, she learns valuable lessons about faith, family, and the true meaning of Christmas.

Nepo daughter don't have a job. Send her to school to get a degree. Your setting her up for failure. There are not enough jobs for really good Black actors/actresses. LOLO
Syrai graduated summa cum laude with a bachelors degree and she has an associates in entertainment from the Los Angeles film school. what else you want her to do?
