Nessa Diab Defends Dragging Jay Z

Last week Colin Kapernick's domestic partner, Nessa Diab, piled on with Nicki Minaj in dragging Jay Z, claiming Jay stabbed Colin in the back by taking the creative director position with the NFL, in the middle of the boycott over Colin being blacklisted for kneeling during the National Anthem to protest police brutality [click here if you missed that].

Nessa defends her actions and claims Colin is producing a documentary with all the receipts...

Why does she always feel the need to speak on his behalf? Either she's his official spokesperson or he hides behind her mouth so he don't catch any strays. If so, that would make him a punk. Men with their own voice don't usually let women speak for them.

What smear campaign did RN do to Nicki? She seems to ruin her own image. Nessa y’all need some money? It’s clear Nicki and her MAGA friends are trying to move in on RN, and now we can add Colin and his wife to that list. I want to know what Jay Z said “no” to for all of this to happen.

I’m so sick of this lady, they probably didn’t want to deal with her. She needs to use common sense he was a free agent kneeling from the bench, had he not kneeled he may have gotten a decent contract but he wasn’t good enough to give a settlement and a new contract.

Never forget: Colin was on the bench before he started kneeling.

I guess he'll talk about it in the documentary....

I like Colin, and I do believe Nessa and understand why she wants to publicly defend him. But this is not her place. Why isn't his lawyer handling this? He's going up against a big corporation, and if they do have receipts then have a lawyer sue the NFL and Jay Z. She comes across as off-putting, and honestly because she's not Black and works at a hip-hop station, Black people are not going to jump and sympathize with them because of HER. Colin's not doing interviews to get his story out there, but she's the one representing him, and not doing a good job at it. She appears like a lawyer for her own husband and looks foolish. Hire a lawyer and let them do their job and stop putting everything on social media.

@12:41
this is very true. He was not much of a good player before the kneel. Not to say that the kneel wasn't authentic, but one could argue that this is why the NFL doesn't want him now. He just wasn't that good before, and he's much older and should be seeking other ventures. Even if he has some case, Nessa is not helping like she think she is. A good lawyer could find a loophole and possibly get a settlement for him.

Where's the bullet point on how he settled his grivance with the NFL and took their money to shut the hell up which is why Nessa is his mouth piece?

@12:41- No he wasn't. They only allow 1 quarterback on the field & coaches give switch up QB's all the time. You don't know sports!

The workplace is not a stage for you to air out your personal grievances and/or opinions. That was Colin's first mistake. Correlating the national anthem with police brutality was his second, one has nothing to do with the other and it came across as disrespectful. Nessa needs to face the fact that Colin simple minded tail failed to find a way to deliver his message in a way that wouldn't jeopardize his career. That is it that is all.

Although Colin's first years on the 49ers were great, his 2016 and 2017 years preceeding the kneel was terrible. He was set to be released from the team before the kneel. Even Nessa told one of the coaches that the NFL is treating him like a slave, which threatened any negotiations with Colin's future with the team at the time. This is all on his Wikipedia page.

The last game Colin played in was in January of 2017. She said that after he kneeled that he didn’t get one offer from the NFL. No shit Sherlock, he wasn’t good enough for any NFL team to lose money over by white fans boycotting their team because vast majority of black players kneeling during the National Anthem. I hope Jay waits until the documentary is out for 6 months and then sues them for defamation of character.
