here if you missed that].
The Caribbean Guard confirms that the beach is known for rip currents and that there were no lifeguards on duty the day Malcom drowned...

Paid for a bad decision.
There were warning signs.
Any word whether his wife was there vacationing with him? There is no mention of her, and no statement from her yet. Also, both he and his daughter were swimming in the water and was rescued. Why would he make this decision to swim in these rough waters knowing the risk with no life vest, and no lifeguards on the beach? QTNA
I heard he went for a swim solo. There's no way he would've brought a child into those waters.
Playa Grande de Cocles, is not Malcoms style of vacation
from what Ive seen based on his life. Scuba Diving, Deep Sea Diving, Travel risk taking, type stuff.
For people who like remote mountain climbing, adventure hiking. People who go off the beaten trails, looking for more
hidden gems. This type of travel is life style not spur of the moment
That was a locals spot, you wouldnt know it was so dangerous unless you grew up there.Who recommended it
who encouraged travel there.
He was on family vacation.
He was swimming with his daughter.
Rescuers were able to retrieve his daughter.
^ How do you know? I heard he swam solo. Daughter could've been on the beach not in the water.
CPR was performed for 45 min.
@9:58 The press says she was there, she is Latin
With this happening, she can no longer remain anonymous
She must come forward, now. This thing is too big
Her name would be on the local police reports, if its NOT
Huge Red Flag.
His vacation was his choice.
He lived a private life. Who's to say what's atypical of him when you don't know what's typical of him?
I could have sworn I saw yesterday that the daughter was also in the water and was surprised by that, but now I don't see anything to confirm it. His wife was also on vacation.
News can be wrong or skewed, esp since it happened overseas. There were supposedly warning signs and it's apparently a remote location. I am so sad by this.
His wife is not a public figure.
From what Ive seen based on his life the Scuba Diving, Deep Sea Diving, Travel risk taking, type stuff is NOT something he did.
He was NOT one of those people who like remote mountain climbing, adventure hiking people who go off the beaten trails, looking for more
@10:19 SHE IS NOW
Investigative reporting takes time.
It's an unfortunate situation.
A major America Celebrity from one of the MOST POPULAR FAMILY TV SHOWS is dead,& his wife is totally unknown
She can no longer, be unknown, the GLOBAL PRESS is already digging
Some people act like accidents don't happen.
What do people expect from his wife?
Leave his grieving family alone.
Somebody get the Spanish press report in that town
Get the LOCAL Spanish police reports
There is NO WAY her name is NOT on them.
Not to stir the pot and it might not even matter but I heard somewhere she was a common law wife. May or may not be true or even matter in the long run.
A rich black well known celeb passed in a remote country
known for unusual deaths. lets just look the other way. Nothing to see her.
Nobody is saying bother the loved ones, we all feel bad.
His life & legacy deserves the transparency.
Nobody was around ?
No footage of him walking to the beach ?
Who was the "alleged" man that I read
Somewhere that was in the hospital also ?
Any footage of him being dragged out of the water?
The ambulance ?
Just weird bcus I heard it was a very well
Traveled area
Go on youtube at search under ... "rip tides playa cocles" costa rica, here is an example below.
Now that you see how dangerous that looks, you have a better understanding,

There is nothing unusual about a drowning. People do drown. This is not a first.
Transparency? Who are you going to hold accountable if you don't get what you believe that you should? What will you do?
10:20 is not All Caps opinion
11:45 I've noticed alot of deflection comments on this story
that seem very defensive. Knowing how tourist spots are very agressive at protecting their image my spider senses are becoming active. They hire comment bot teams its considered the price of doing business
Having said that what if your son went on a remote vacation in Costa Rica, & ended up dead.
Non english speaking people on the other side of world
in an under developed country, are handling the investigation,
They haven't said much except there were no life guards.
Would you still make the comment " people drown, its not a first"
Thanks @11:43, looks scary
The Costa Rican Red Cross revealed in a statement Tuesday to The Hollywood Reporter that first responders were notified Sunday at around 2:10 p.m. of two male swimmers in need of emergency medical treatment due to a “water-related incident” at Playa Grande.
Paramedics reportedly revived one of the swimmers, while Warner was pronounced dead.

Omg I just heard on ABC7 that he was swimming with his daughter and she was rescued. The other guy that's hospitalized was one of a few trying to save Malcolm when the guy was also pulled in by the current. Why would he take his daughter to swim in those rough, choppy waters??
^ thanks...why the conflicting reports?
💔
Do your own research and stop waiting on others to comment, just so you can dispute them.
So curious about the wife as their marriage is not public record. Why is her identity still anonymous during an ongoing investigation. Is she a citizen? Not insinuating foul play but it's strange that she hasn't even put out a statement . Is she not going to attend the funeral and memorial as well?
