From People
Skai Jackson’s ex-boyfriend, Deondre Burgin, has been arrested for aggravated robbery in an alleged carjacking with help from an FBI task force, PEOPLE can reveal.
Burgin, 21, was taken into custody by officers from the FBI Safe Streets Task Force and local police from Covington, Kentucky, outside of an Ulta Beauty in Newport, Kentucky, shortly after 7 p.m. on Monday, July 14, Kenton County Commonwealth’s Attorney Rob Sanders exclusively told PEOPLE, citing police reports.
The warrant for Burgin’s arrest was issued by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department in neighboring Ohio, Sanders said. Documents viewed by PEOPLE show that the warrant was signed by a judge on June 30.
After waiving an extradition hearing on Tuesday, July 15, Burgin was extradited to Hamilton County and booked into the Hamilton County Justice Center on Thursday, July 17, shortly after 11 a.m.
Per the report, Burgin and another suspect allegedly robbed the owner of a 2018 Mercedes-Benz C300 and a semi-automatic 9-caliber Glock handgun in the parking lot of a Cincinnati apartment complex. Burgin is also accused of threatening the victim while carrying a handgun and pistol-whipping the victim.
The victim in the alleged robbery told Cincinnati police that he was approached by an unknown suspect, who brandished a gun and demanded property.
“As the suspect was going through the victim's pockets, the victim tried to grab the gun from the suspect,” the police report stated.
At that point, another suspect allegedly approached the victim, who was then pistol-whipped.
The victim told police that the two suspects proceeded to take his keys and flee with their gun and the vehicle, which was recovered soon after. The victim had multiple facial lacerations that were visible to police and was transferred to a local hospital, per the Cincinnati Police Department’s report.
An affidavit filed in Hamilton County also stated that Burgin was allegedly the one who pistol-whipped the victim, claiming Burgin “struck the victim in the head and face with a pistol multiple times while taking the victim's property.”
A spokesperson for the FBI declined to comment, citing an ongoing investigation.
Burgin's arrest on July 14 was separate from his previous arrest on April 17, which took place while he was cleaning his car. "On that day, Burgin was arrested for a warrant, again, out of Hamilton County, OH, at a gas station while cleaning his car," Sanders exclusively told PEOPLE.

Lock him up so nobody has to look at that face.
She knows how to pick em.
Oop. I guess Skai really sent him back to the streets. He’s a far cry from her LA residence. I’m going to applaud her efforts for now but she better not post his bail!
Look Snitch, you need to dial back on that picture size. Its too early in the day for the grill of a Halloween goblin. LOLO
Sad how the young successful black girls have to settle for crap just to have a baby.
He is so unattractive.

Not smiling now, is he?
That's one of the most racist areas in this racist nation. Not a good place for stupid Black folks to do stupid stuff.

What's sad is she didn't have to settle for him. She likes so called bad bois with no common sense. Their are plenty of educated Black men with degrees she could have chosen to date. LOLO
Ol tow up ass monkey mouth raggedy heffa 🤣
His mouth is as wide as his forehead. That should've been her first clue.
Unless he had a top of the head to the neck face mask on with just the eyes cut out so he could see (and maybe some colored contacts to throw people off) he was looking to be identified in a line up. IJS.
Ladies, choose wisely when deciding who you want to father your children. This is a shame.
