Now the book has been pulled...
From Page Six
There’s a battle over Diddy between Al B. Sure! and Simon & Schuster.
The publisher had promised that the singer — who was once married to Diddy’s late ex, Kim Porter — would reveal dirt on the rapper in a new book, including a claim that he had something to do with Sure! falling into a coma in 2022.
But after announcing the memoir, “Do You Believe Me Now?” in May, ahead of Diddy’s’ trial, Simon & Schuster has pulled it from its website, and we’re told the project is on ice.
The R&B crooner’s lawyer, Robert J. Hantman, told Page Six there’s been “creative differences” over Diddy between Sure! and the publisher.
“Simon & Schuster wanted him to include more stuff about P. Diddy, but he didn’t really want to go there,” Hantman said.
“He hopes to work it out with them,” he added.
The book is suddenly unavailable for pre-order on Amazon, which, along with Audible, posted a new release date of Dec. 31, 2050! The page for the audio edition of the book has also been removed from Amazon entirely.
Sure! and Diddy’s history dates back to 1990 at Uptown Records, where Sure! was the label’s biggest star and a young Combs was an intern. The “Secret Garden” singer was married to Porter, who became Diddy’s longtime on-and-off partner, and mother to three of the Bad Boy Records founder’s children.
She and Sure! had son, Quincy Brown, whom Diddy adopted.

I am so sick of this irrelevant fool!
He's trying to hang on to the spotlight for dear life and doesn't want to accept that his best days are behind him...
So, making Sean the focus of his media campaign back fired. I don't think he didn't want to speak more on him, I think he has exaggerated too much for clout and it won't hold up to scrutiny or law suits. He is just as guilty as Sean of using Kim for attention. Oh well, back to social media rants he must go.
I never knew they were married. Al B. should have realized that he only got the book deal because of his ties to Diddy, not his own personal accomplishments.
The publishers made the right decision.
I bet he’s got plenty details on Diddy to use in his book. Problem is his only connection to Diddy is through Porter and all the negativity he’d use on Diddy, would fall back on him bc he likely did nothing in Porter’s life good or bad. He let that man raise his own son so whatever allegations he’d use in the book will show him as even worse bc he knew what was up and did nothing ever.
Has the book been printed? How did the book get taken off the shelf without a proof read from the publisher?
He should have written book years ago. He wants to tell it now that Doodoo is behind bars. Scaredy 😱 cat. I have no respect for you. LOLO
He doesn't want to talk about himself and what he experienced. He was a pretty boy.😻😻😻😻
He either didn't deliver the manuscript or delivered an unacceptable one. Now he's going to have to pay back the advance to the publisher and that could be expensive.
@9:01 Kim is NOT the only connection. You do realize that Puffy and Al were both at Uptown?! They have long ran in the same streets and circles.
I'm sick of people dangling the carrots of telling their stories. These long buildups, to not reveal anything are ridiculous. Tell your story or don't. But threatening to tell the story for years is just goofy.
This queen has been dethrone!!
He made promises he couldn’t deliver. It sure is a wrap.
Detained Diddy still has reach?
Diddy gon get chu. Al B Safe instead of Sure!
He had all the time in the world to get his information straight and all his sources sited. He's looking for a payday off of Puffys back instead of getting a 9-5
Yes, 12:27AM, Diddy gon get him! And he should! I'm tired of Al & his half stories....but I'll still bump his music occasionally. 😀
