I’ve been trying to semi-“rest” since the beginning of the year, but seeing so many friends and family losing their jobs, students moving back to their home countries out of fear, watching all the cuts being made in education, and this government and their racist counterparts continuously poking the bear (aka black people trying to mind their business while we navigate these times), I’m about ready to rebel my d@mn self. Over it.
It will get better 7:58 & thank you 11:49. Our ancestors didn't do all that for nothing. The middle class is coming back and people will have more freedom instead of being debt and work slaves. Faith is a super power. Blessings!
Wow, I have a degree in AA Studies and I have never heard of this rebellion! Unbelievable! I wonder how they knew the direction to Nassau and the freedom there. I wonder if he ever saw his wife or kids again. I wonder how the ones who agreed to return to slavery made their decisions. I wonder if they ever regretted it or if they were better off. So much to answer here. Would love a movie on it too
