I love to see how we accomplished so much progress after and during slavery.
What I noticed in these post is how we started out looking African and as time past we started looking more Yt. This started the divide in our culture. House and Field Blacks. Yt's have used that to separate us. We still use that separation to this day. Some of us are still brain washed and it doesn't matter the shade of our skin.
I'm talking about the ppl that thought Dump was going to help you.

It's a damn shame that she felt that she needed to leave the country to be valued her worth. The u.s. didn't deserve her.

9:17 AM, It's a little different now. Black folks today are exposed to influences that didn't exist pre & early post slavery.

I am amazed at how some people were able to become formally educated during those times. Fast forward to 2025 where millions of people are drop-outs and illiterate in one of the world's wealthiest nations. I do know that everybody can't always help their situation.

I've seen homeless ppl get an education because they wanted it bad enough. As it's said " If there is a will there is a way". LOLO

i love these unsung heroic women that broke the mold of being somebody's housekeeper or somebody's wife. Being married is awesome but you still gotta have your own identity.

@9:54 The public schools suck they don't care about truly educating anyone anymore and many of the teachers are emotionally abusive. Not an excuse but some people do fall by the wayside. Tired of seeing all these cashiers that can't count simple change, it's an epidemic!
