This week it was announced that ESPN would not be moving forward with the Spike Lee directed Colin Kaepernick documentary, sparking conspiracy theories about the REAL reason the doc was canceled [click here if you missed that].
Lee reveals that the doc was actually canceled a year ago...
Spike Lee tells Ebro,
"Here's the thing. That is not really news, or it can't be news till somebody says something. That happened a year ago but no one ever asked me till the other day, and so it's not just something that happened overnight."

I don’t know who to believe but one thing is for sure… there’s stuff in there the NFL don't want us to know about and that’s that.
