Lil Nas X Punched Police Officer Twice

Last week rapper Lil Nas X was arrested on charges of battery on a police officer in LA, after being found wondering down the street in his underwear and pair of white cowboy boots [click here if you missed that].

Lil Nas X reportedly got into a physical dispute with a police officer before he was hospitalized.

LAPD confirmed to Page Six that the “Industry Baby” rapper, 26, was booked with a misdemeanor charge of battery on a police officer Thursday. However, NBC has revealed new details about the altercation.

The outlet reported that Lil Nas X, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, “punched an officer twice in the face during the encounter,” according to a source.

LAPD declined Page Six’s request for comment on those claims, telling us Thursday afternoon, “There is no further information to disseminate.”

Earlier, however, law enforcement shed some light on what transpired when they arrived onto the scene.

We were told officers were dispatched to Ventura Boulevard before 6 a.m. local time following reports of a “nude man walking in the street.”
