This.....(MAYBE) In Shannon's mind, it may have been better to be known as a womanizer than be found to be in a loving healthy relationship with a male partner. In the publics sub conscious.... Him being exposed to be a hetero freak is more acceptable than being found out to be gay. That's how psychological and damaging homophobia is.
