Award Winning Screenwriter Alex O'Keefe Detained After Alleged Racist Incident
Award winning screenwriter, Alex O'Keefe, who currently writes for FX series 'The Bear' was detained and removed from a MTA train headed to Connecticut after an elderly white woman complained about the way he was seated...
Not surprised. Black folks passively sitting back need to wake the Fck-up. Dump is in full effect. Jim I see your back to send us to the J Crow error. LLOLO This is not a joke.
Interesting. So they didn't ask the person who complained a single question? Forget getting both sides of the story because the Black man must be automatically guilty, right? I hope he gets the best attorney his money can retain, sue the entire F&ck out of that police department and get every one of those officers suspended or fired.
@11:38 AM, I think we're well past the point of asking that question but I know why: Because they hate what they fear and they're threatened by our power. We're a force to be reckoned with but sadly we can't get our sh!t together, come together as a whole and show them how MUCH of a force we are. That's why they stay trying to divide and conquer.
@11:42 AM, I hear you but conductors are usually required to report any complaints and not intervene. Therefore, he can probably get away with claiming he was just doing his job and wasn't responsible for the actual arrest.
No, sh!t isn't real and i is about to get real because the average black person doesn't have to deal with these kinds of things and can't imagine it could happen to them. But the more we see these things in real time the more real it becomes. It doesn't matter what people hear or see. Change usually happens when you start to feel something.
Some of y’all called me crazy when I told y’all to Vote Blue to avoid Project 2025. It wasn’t just the YT trollls either. Some of y’all got mad cuz a few of us wanted to mention (not even discuss, but just mention) politics and y’all would complain and tell us to shut up and just talk about gossip. Now you in here acting like you got a clue. I see you.
@11:43 I believe it was the train conductor who called the cops. His sorry behind could not defuse the situation. It not like he was dingling his private part in front of her!
I dunno why people are shocked. NYC hides their racism to outsiders who doesn’t know better, but the racial profiling, stop n frisk, random bag searches in the train stations, gentrification, clear redlining in many of the boroughs, racist Russians in Brighton Beach to the racist mafia Italians in Howard Beach, and the lack of respect for black Americans in those same ghettos being over populated by Caribbean Latinos, Afro Caribbeans, East Asians and Africans all cosplaying black American culture made me get tf out the city!
^ Not denying what you said about NY (except the cosplaying) but please do tell where you ended up that didn't have similar issues and a mostly Black American population that wasn't mostly ghetto.
^^^i have to gate keep for the culture, but I learned once I left NYC all hoods are not as crazy as mine was. But I no longer live in the hood. It’s crazy to leave one hood to move to another. I live in a middle/upper class neighborhood of mostly black folks, and it’s peaceful. When I visit family that also moved to different states, it’s the same. They moved to middle/upper class neighborhoods mostly populated by black Americans. The key is to move out the hood and find a community of working class/retired black folks.
Unpopular Opinion: He should've removed his feet & realized that he wasn't at home or in his own vehicle. If he needed to have his feet elevated for comfort he should've waited until the train was in motion until the next stop.

CIVIL RIGHTS ATTORNEY ASAP!!
Law suit!
Law suit? Let’s hope he doesn’t get a Trump-appointed judge.
I see four police officers responded for a non-violent offense. Yeah, it's time for me to get it together. Sh!t's about to get real out here.

This is so damn digusting
Y'T granny needs her walker repo-ed. See how she can get around without it.
She got plenty of senes/ hate to use her Obama phone to call Popo.
And this happened in "liberal' Connecticut, not deep red Mississippi or Alabama. Black people: nowhere in this country is safe for us.
That's effed up!
He should've got the conductor on her first. Anybody questions me...Im going to management immediately..

Our presence is a threat. You gotta start asking yourself why is our presence a threat? Hmmm.
White lady doing what white ladies do.
@ 11:33 AM. Don’t forget about the transit authority. They can get that lawsuit too.
That white racist train driver, who called the police he needs to be sued also along with the old white lady.
I love the Bear
Do knigs consider this when procreating and transferring their wealth to them...willingly, let me mind my business.

The first thing I am going to do is pray for their downfall. Shalom.

MTA already printing that check... and I hope he doesn't accept the first offer.
He's probably more accomplished than those saltines will ever be.

This was on the news last night. He was not arrested but got a summons. It still went over the top by putting cuffs on him for non violence LOLO
