We don’t keep our institutions because YT loves to buy us out and remove any evidence that we were ever there and then claim it as their own.

It happened back in the day and it’s happening now.

Its well known that you starve out the competition after they steal our ideas. We need Yt dollars sometimes to get started too. We need banks and commercial dollars to stay afloat. Also Black folks sometimes over spend on lavish personal items before getting substantial success.

What I find interesting is how wealthy Black people who can afford to, don't seem to swoop in and save struggling Black businesses or enterprises that are trying to do positive things for the community. Maybe it happens but I sure haven't heard or seen it.

Being a Midwesterner I think I remember this Back when antennas were needed on tvs to get surrounding Midwest cities channels.
