It makes a lot of sense to me why she's still so popular even though her music isn't all that and she's barely articulate. Many of those NYers show up for Cardi because she's a symbol of hope and escape. She's a former stripper of immigrant heritage who barely has a high school education and very little class, yet was still able to leave the ghetto to become a multi-millionaire while fully embracing her inherent ghetto nature, behavior and mindset. And it doesn't hurt that she's also unafraid to constantly alter her face and body, which is an inspiration for so many women who want to do the same. For the men, she's the ultimate sx symbol and h0e/housewife fantasy.

Cardi b surrounded by her people who love her because she acts black. Ignorant black mind you. Not black black. Not royalty black. Not who we truly are black. But that’s cool cause you can borrow the ignorant black. For a time. Cause we don’t need it right now.

A lotta men don't like the bbl look, just sayin. Methinks her popularity is somewhat manufactured.

@ 1:09 PM. Speak for yourself. She ain’t no sex symbol to me. She is a caricature. A balloon doll. A female clown to be more descriptive. You must be a chick because I am a man.

At the end of the day. Great marketing I hope they buy her album. Clearly meet your celebrity is not dead. I remember standing on line at stores for autographs and pictures that were free. Fun times.

Cotdamn Mr. I Am A Man. Take up reading comprehension and start with my first sentence. I didn't suggest it applies to every man in the universe so if the sh!t doesn't apply to YOU move the fck around it. She doesn't appeal to me and I'm not a fan. I was merely stating an opinion based on my observation.

@1:32 PM, I can't disagree. Sometimes ignorance attracts ignorance and she's hella ignorant. At times she can be entertaining but she's mostly a stain on the face of Black culture to me. And the fact that she behaves like the most ratchet example of what society often views Black people as, but isn't equally treated as a terrible representation of Dominican culture is very telling.

She's Afro-Latina. I'm cheering for that African bloodline in her. She's not afraid to work to take care of herself and her family. Offprice not giving those kids anything, they both said that, so she gotta hustle.💵
