D4vd Retains Top Criminal Defense Attorney

Last month the LAPD refused to confirm if recording artist D4vd was cooperating with the investigation after the body of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas was found in the trunk of his abandon Tesla [click here if you missed that].

Romantic Homicide” singer D4vd has hired one of Harvey Weinstein’s lawyers — as cops probe how the dismembered remains of a 14-year-old runaway ended up in his abandoned Tesla.

The 20-year-old embattled artist recently retained Blair Berk, a top criminal defense attorney who has also repped a host of Hollywood stars, including Lindsay Lohan, Kanye West, Mel Gibson and Britney Spears, LA Magazine reported.

D4vd, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke, has faced intense scrutiny ever since Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s rotting remains were discovered in his vehicle on Sept. 8 after it was brought to a Hollywood tow lot.

The singer hasn’t been named as a suspect in the twisted case.

The gruesome discovery came nearly two weeks after the abandoned Tesla was slapped with a parking violation.

Cops are still probing exactly when the teen died and how long her body was in the vehicle.
