Taylor Swift may be airing out her grievances in style.

With the release of her new album The Life of a Showgirl, fans are speculating that the Grammy winner's song "Opalite" makes digs at fiancé Travis Kelce's ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole.

The third track—the name of which is an homage to Travis' opal birthstone—highlights the journey of two people finding one another after a string of unsuccessful relationships.

Describing the Kansas City Chiefs player's story, she sang that he was "dancing through the lightning strikes" and was "sleepless in the onyx night" before he finally made his "own sunshine."

And it was in the second verse that fans thought Taylor was shading Kayla—who dated the NFL player on and off from 2017 to 2022—when she sang, "You couldn't understand it / Why you felt alone."

"You were in it for real / She was in her phone," she continued. "You were just a pose / And don't we try to love love / And give it all we got / You finally left the table / And what a simple thought / You're starving 'til you're not."

Not long after the album dropped, an old video of Kayla and Travis, which closely aligned with the details of the verse, resurfaced on social media. As the influencer drank a glass of wine at a restaurant, a visibly agitated Travis told her, "Just drink the wine so we can go."

Kayla, 33, giggled at his request while swishing the wine in the glass.

"Sometimes, if someone would pay me attention," she said as Travis tried to pull the phone from her hands, "I wouldn't have to go on social media and seek validation from a bunch of strangers on the internet."

The NFL player interjected, urging her, "Oh, my God. Get off your phone. Get off your phone. You're not even drinking your wine anymore. Can we go?"
